A combination of Old Wente, Dijon 76 and Dijon 96 from Adastra's CCOF-certified organic vineyard, the 2017 "America, America" was aged in two oak barrels made in Benicia, California, by cooper Tonnellerie O. One barrel was from Missouri-grown oak, the other from Virginia-grown oak. This beautifully balanced wine has aromas of coconut, mineral, citrus, golden delicious apple and toasted cashews, along with hints of nutmeg and all spice. Citrus and apple elements appear on the palate, along with apricot, pineapple, mango and toasty notes. The wine is nicely weighted and can be enjoyed on its own with a wide array of foods.
